Terms and Conditions (TC/TCU)

Definitions

“Teleservice”: this term refers to the online service allowing users to apply for a Pass G7 electronically.
“Pass G7”: a digital access pass allowing access to the security perimeters of the G7 Summit organized in Evian in June 2026.
“The platform”: the website set up by the Prefecture of Haute-Savoie to apply for a Pass G7, accessible at: https://www.pass-g7.gouv.fr
“The user”: any person consulting or using the platform.

Purpose and application of the Terms and Conditions

The present Terms and Conditions (TC) or Terms and Conditions of Use (TCU) determine the rights and obligations between the Prefecture of Haute-Savoie, which provides the Pass G7 application platform, and the user.
These TC are binding on users of the Teleservice in accordance with Article L112-9 of the Code of Relations between the Public and the Administration.

Update of the Terms and Conditions

The terms of these Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time, without notice, depending on changes made to the platform, legal developments, or for any other necessary reason.

Presentation of the www.pass-g7.gouv.fr platform

The platform www.pass-g7.gouv.fr is intended for anyone concerned by the arrangements regarding the free movement of persons and vehicles within the security zones established by the Prefecture of Haute-Savoie for the G7 Summit held in Evian in June 2026.

This platform allows users:

  • To be informed of the security zones and traffic restrictions related to the 2026 G7 Summit;
  • To apply for a Pass G7 (for pedestrians or vehicles), to be filed based on the personal or professional situation of the person concerned;
  • To contact us with any questions regarding the application for and issuance of a Pass G7.

The use of this platform and the issuance of the access pass are free of charge.

Teleservice Access Conditions

Users do not need to create an account or authenticate themselves on the platform.
However, identification information is required for the issuance of a Pass G7 (for more information, please see the section ” How to Apply for a Pass G7″).
A user may apply for a Pass G7 on behalf of another adult or a minor over the age of 13. Minors under the age of 13 do not need a Pass G7.
If you reside in Evian, Publier, Neuvecelle, or Thonon-les-Bains, you have the option of going to your local town hall to complete your application. The local Maisons France Services network will also be available to support you through these steps.

Platform availability

The platform opened on May 11, 2026, and will close on June 17, 2026.
The Pass G7 application service is available 24/7, except during periods of unavailability for maintenance or any other necessary reason.
In the event of maintenance or an incident, the Prefecture of Haute-Savoie reserves the right to temporarily suspend the operation of the service. In case of emergency, such suspension may occur without notice.
The unavailability of the platform does not entitle the user to any compensation of any kind.

Service Procedures

All Pass G7 applications must be filed through this platform.
Only persons and vehicles concerned by the security and traffic restriction perimeters for a valid reason (in accordance with the table of exemptions – see the section “Do I need a Pass G7?” will be eligible for a Pass G7.
The Pass G7 is free of charge, issued in the holder’s name, and is non-transferable.

Applying for a Pass G7

Applications must be submitted via the platform based on:

  • The security and traffic restriction zone you wish to access (Blue or Red zone);
  • The nature of your request: individual application or vehicle application;
  • Your reason for accessing the zone: resident, worker, visitor, in transit, or other authorized vehicles.

BLUE ZONE

For pass applications for the Expanded Protection Blue Zone (active from June 10 to 17), you must submit one application per person. (A single applicant may submit requests for several people).

The following information will be required:

  • First and last name
  • Date and place of birth
  • Email address
  • Postal address
  • ID number and a copy of a valid ID
  • A passport-sized photo
  • Supporting documentation for the request: proof of residence, professional ID, employer certificate, proof of visit, etc.

RED ZONE

For pass applications for the Summit Red Zone, you must submit one application per person and per vehicle. (A single applicant may submit multiple requests).

The following information will be required:

  • First and last name
  • Date and place of birth
  • Email and postal address
  • ID number and a copy of a valid ID
  • Number and copy of the vehicle registration certificate
  • Supporting documentation for your request: proof of residence, professional ID, employer certificate, proof of visit, etc.

Each application must be complete (mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk “*”) and contain only accurate and up-to-date information. Your supporting documents must be legible.
The issuance of your Pass G7 depends on the accuracy and legibility of this information. If you provide false information or use fraudulent documents, your Pass G7 will not be issued following review by our services.
If the information you provide is inaccurate or incomplete, you will need to submit a new application.

Application Receipt

Once you have finalized and confirmed your application on the platform, a confirmation email will be sent to the Pass G7 holder’s registered email address.
This confirmation or acknowledgment of receipt does not, under any circumstances, constitute a valid Pass G7 and does not grant access to the secure zones.

Application Review

The duration of the review process may vary depending on the nature of your request. We cannot guarantee a specific processing timeframe.

Issuance of the Pass G7

The Pass G7 will be issued once your application has been reviewed and approved.

Your application for a Pass G7 may be refused for the following reasons:

  • The address provided is outside the zone related to the request;
  • The applicant is under the age of 13;
  • The supporting documentation provided is invalid;
  • A duplicate application has already been submitted.

Intellectual Property and Credits

Reuse of Public Information

Public information on the website www.pass-g7.gouv.fr, excluding trademarks, logos, and content subject to third-party intellectual property rights or containing personal data, may be reused provided the three conditions of Article L322-1 of the Code of Relations between the Public and the Administration (Code des relations entre le public et l’administration) are met:

  • The integrity of the reproduced information is respected;
  • The date of the last update of the reproduced information is mentioned;
  • The source and authorship of the reproduced information are cited.

Any request regarding audiovisual or graphic content must be addressed to the rights holders. Any reuse is subject to the author’s agreement according to Article L.122-4 of the Intellectual Property Code (Code de la Propriété Intellectuelle).

Any public or private site may establish a link to the information published on www.pass-g7.gouv.fr without prior authorization.
However, pages from the www.pass-g7.gouv.fr website may not be embedded (partially or fully) within the pages of another site.
Authorization to establish a link is valid for any medium, except those disseminating controversial, pornographic, or xenophobic information, or any content that may, to a larger extent, offend public sensitivity.

Links to other sites

Links to other public or private sites may be provided on the www.pass-jeux.gouv.fr website in order to facilitate access to information for Internet users.
The Préfecture de Police is not responsible for the content of these sites.

Content

Despite every effort to preserve the integrity of the documents posted online, accidental errors cannot be completely ruled out.
The Prefecture of Haute-Savoie reserves the right to correct them at any time as soon as they are brought to its attention.
Therefore, the user assumes sole and full responsibility for the use of the information and content on this platform.

User Commitments and Liability

It is the user’s responsibility to:

  • Comply with these terms of use for the Teleservice and the platform;
  • Use the site in accordance with its intended purpose;
  • Refrain from any attempt to harm the proper functioning of the platform and the Teleservice;
  • Refrain from any fraudulent or non-compliant use of the Teleservice and platform content, including the links provided;
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information when using the Teleservice.

The Prefecture of Haute-Savoie reserves the right to refuse a Pass G7 application in the event of non-compliance with these Terms of Use or fraudulent use of the platform and the Teleservice, without prejudice to any legal action that may be taken against the user.

Reminder: Forgery and the use of forged documents are punishable by up to three years’ imprisonment and a fine of €45,000, in accordance with Article 441-1 of the French Penal Code.

Commitments and Liability of the Prefecture of Haute-Savoie

The Prefecture of Haute-Savoie undertakes to take all necessary precautions to preserve the security of the data collected from the user, specifically to prevent it from being modified, deleted, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

The Prefecture of Haute-Savoie shall not be held liable:

  • In cases of force majeure or the unpredictable and irresistible act of a third party;
  • In the event of identity theft or any fraudulent use of the Teleservice resulting in damage;
  • In the event of unavailability or malfunction related to the user’s connection, browser, or device.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute regarding the interpretation or execution of these general terms and conditions, and failing an amicable agreement between the parties, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
The platform is governed by French law. All its content and services are subject to current French regulations.
If any provision of these general terms of use is held to be invalid or declared as such under any law, regulation, or final decision by a competent court, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
