Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

The Pass G7 is a personal digital access pass (QR code), issued by the Haute-Savoie Prefecture, required to enter the security perimeters surrounding the venues of the 2026 G7 Summit in Evian-les-Bains. In many situations, a Pass G7 is not required.

All perimeters were activated simultaneously on June 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
They remained active 24/7 until June 17, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

The G7 Summit took place from June 15 to 17, 2026, in Evian-les-Bains.
The G7 Pass system ended on June 17, 2026.

Data relating to individuals:

• Pass number
• Surname and first name
• Date and place of birth
• Postal and email address
• Telephone contact details
• Photograph
• Proof of residence within the zone
• Number and copy of identity document (national identity card, passport, driving license, residence permit)
• Reason for access to the security zone and supporting documentation

Data relating to vehicles:

• Registration number
• Copy of the registration certificate

Personal data is retained for a period of three months following the end of the event, apart from copies of national identity cards, driving licenses, passports, or residence permits, which are retained only until the issuance of the access pass.

Access to this data beyond three days is only permitted within the framework of judicial proceedings.
